Borough Committees

Boards and Commissions offer residents the opportunity to actively participate in their community. These groups typically provide recommendations to the Borough Council, helping to shape policies and legislative decisions. Members serve on a volunteer basis, contributing their time and expertise to support the Borough’s development and governance.

The Council President appoints chairpersons for various committees, with each Chairperson serving as the lead for their designated committee. The Spring Grove Borough Council holds a committee meeting on the first Monday of each month, where members discuss key issues. The full Borough Council convenes on the third Monday of each month to take formal action on matters reviewed during the committee meeting.

The President of Borough Council serves as an ex-officio member of all committees and will receive notice of all meetings. The Mayor will also be notified of all committee and council meetings and invited to participate.
